Neuroimmune interactions in peripheral tissues

چکیده
Neuroimmune interactions have been revealed to be at the centre stage of tissue defence, organ homeostasis, and organismal physiology. Neuronal immune cell subsets shown colocalize in discrete environments, forming neuroimmune units that constitute basis for bidirectional interactions. These multitissue drive coordinated responses local systemic signals, which represents an important challenge our current views mucosal physiology regulation. In this review, we focus on impact reciprocal interactions, focusing anatomy neuronal innervation regulation cells peripheral tissues. Finally, shed light recent studies explore how maximise sensing integration environmental aggressions, modulating function health disease.

Neuroimmune interactions in stress.
Stress has long been recognized as a putative modulator of immunity. Several clinical and experimental reports point to a role of physical and psychological stressors on progression or resistance to disease. Nonetheless, literature in this field is sometimes controversial due to the wide variety of stressors employed and parameters of immunity analyzed. This variation should not be considered a...
متن کاملNeuroimmune Interactions in Inflammation and Acute Kidney Injury
Inflammation contributes to the pathogenesis of a wide variety of disorders including kidney diseases. Recent advances have shown that neural pathways are able to regulate immunity and inflammation. The cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway (CAP) is a well-studied neural circuit involving the vagus nerve that is thought to contribute to the response to inflammatory disorders. Expression of rece...

Enteric neuroimmune interactions in gastrointestinal hypersensitivity responses involve antigen detection by mast cells, mast cell degranulation, release of chemical mediators, and modulatory actions of the mediators on the enteric nervous system (ENS). Electrophysiological methods were used to investigate electrical and synaptic behavior of neurons in the stomach and small intestine during exp...

Circadian Clocks Are Resounding in Peripheral Tissues
Circadian rhythms are prevalent in most organisms. Even the smallest disturbances in the orchestration of circadian gene expression patterns among different tissues can result in functional asynchrony, at the organism level, and may to contribute to a wide range of physiologic disorders. It has been reported that as many as 5%-10% of transcribed genes in peripheral tissues follow a circadian ex...
